Let me tell you a secret about me. 🤫

I don't have any exceptional skills. 👈

I don't come from a wealthy background.

Before I have started making money online I didn't have any followers on any social media platforms.

I've been however successfully running a blog and online design business for over eight years now. Running my website is my full-time job. It might sound cheesy, but I feel SO blessed every single morning when I wake up & open my laptop. 💻

I do work crazy hours from time to time tho, but running an automated online business allowed me to do so much already!

Let me share some of my favourite moments so far:

• I got to travel around New Zealand for almost two months while working from the back of a campervan.
• I enjoyed countless road trips with my fiance while still making money every step of the way.
• I got to spend a month in New York City pretending to be Carrie Bradshaw and writing my top posts in Manhattan's coffee shops.
• I supported myself fully through completing my BA degree. Even when I was spending all of my time writing my dissertation, my online business brought me enough income to pay my bills.
• I’ve bought a property.
• I get to spend as much time as I want to with my son, being a working mom is way easier when you're your own boss!

I created a life I don't need to escape from and I want you to do the same! 😆

Why am I telling you this?

Because I care. I'm done seeing young, talented people working hard making someone else's dreams come true. I'm done listening to my loved ones complaining about low paid jobs. I KNOW we can all make it happen & the answer is very simple...

Despite everything, when I get to experience natur

Despite everything, when I get to experience nature in all its beauty, when I get to fall in love with sunsets like these & warm summer nights, I can’t help, but believe in good.

No matter how overwhelming this year might be, I want to leave this as a reminder that there’s always a new & hopefully brighter day coming up after the dark.

We will get through this, it might not be the easiest, but we will. Don’t let this season stop you from what you were meant to be doing. It’s ok to feel down, but it’s also ok to continue going no matter what, you have every right to do so 🙌🏻

This season of re-evaluating your business is not fun, I'm not gonna pretend it is. Yet somehow, I get goosebumps just thinking of where it's all heading! 💪🌟💻

I'll never be a perfect mom or someone's wife, I've grown to accept it. I have no idea how to bake a cake, my home is messier than I'd like to admit and I've canceled family plans more than once because I was swamped with work.⁠⠀

Now I'm not saying this to somehow show this as an example, not at all. I know I can definitely improve in showing up for my boys & that's something I'm really working on.⁠⠀

However, I know that I'm in a season of hustle right now and that's OK. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
I might not be at home to make a homemade meal, but I'm all up for organizing a spontaneous picnic in the park after a busy day (thanks to @wolt.lietuva, of course! I'll be lost without them!). #reklama⁠⠀

I'm also always there to put my son to bed, give him unlimited kisses when we're together, or take him on an adventure in the middle of the work-week, just because I'm free to schedule my own hours.⁠⠀

You see, I don't believe in being perfect. I believe in choosing what works for you & owning your decision.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
I believe that we all have our personal mission & our kids, partners and everyone around us will be better off if we choose to follow that inner voice. ✨

Inspiration doesn't just magically show up. You need to train your mind to work & think about your ideas daily. Thus, once the inspiration really hits, you're ready to actually make the most out of it.⁠

Dedicate fully to self-improvement & positive action. This is when the true magic happens.⁠
⁠
Productive work habits are just like any other habit.⁠ Once you get into the routine of reading, focussing on your work & planning DAILY, it simply goes into your system and it becomes way easier to perform.⁠

I mean, you don't even think about brushing your teeth in the morning, do you? You just do it! 😃⁠

Here are a few things I do every single day that help me keep myself focussed:⁠

• I have a cold shower.⁠
• I get myself to the office & separate my mind from all the personal things. While I'm at the office, I'm 100% dedicated to my business.⁠
• I write down my to-do list & follow it throughout the day.⁠
• I set my phone on silent.⁠
• I listen to audiobooks or read for at least 30 minutes every day and write down the keynotes.⁠
• I read my current goals out loud twice a day.⁠

I'm so glad I took the plunge tho. Two years later, the business is doing better than ever & none of the original plans were left behind.⁠

The truth is, the more you do, the more you can do 💪⁠

Don't wait for that perfect day, most likely it will never come. You're the one in control to create the life that you're excited to wake up to, roll up your sleeves & get the ball rolling.
